Unable to run any workflows

When I try to run any workflow, I get an error:

 

"Error: Designer x64: The Designer x64 reported: SetParameters had an error: Error while reading 'Parameters': ParseError: unterminated entity reference 'M' at line 1 and column 42"

 

I have just started to use alteryx (free trial) and tried to upload simple excel worksheet.
