Unable to delete "system" connections within Manage Data Connections

Hello,

I am unable to delete system connections from "Manage Data Connections" this is creating a very frustrating issue.

My Oracle DR connection for whatever reason, was created using a "System" type connection.

My workflows were created using Oracle DR, alot of dynamic inputs reference this connection.

Every quarter, our passwords get reset for these environments, and we have to reset. And if we try to connect to this database with the incorrect password, it will lock us out indefinitely.
I want to delete this and reset-up the connection as a user. That way, I can modify the password and not have this problem.

I have tried contacting our IT support, but they are unaware of how to resolve for Alteryx, not sure who to go to at this point. Has anyone encountered this issue or know how to remove this connection?

If it's a system connection, then you would need admin permissions to do it I think. A system connection is available to all users on the system, while a user connection is only available to that specific user account. It's been a while, but I remember that for some of these things, you would need to run Alteryx with Admin elevation to change things that needed elevated permissions. Something to try...

If you end up seeking support through Mission Control, then including a screenshot of "Help > About" will assist, as that shows version, Admin/Non-admin type, and whether it's running with elevated permissions.

I strongly advise looking into DCM to manage these connections and credentials.
