I have a macro with a TextInput as Macro input. It has a particular record value (String) with a total of 1704 characters. It is automatically set to V-String but when running the workflow I am getting warning and error related to memory issue
Also the CPU usage is ridiculously 98%

Using the Append Fields depending on how many rows you are working with is really not memory friendly. How many rows from each input are we working with?
You can increase the memory limit from your WF or Designer instance using the Canvas Settings or your User Settings, respectively:
