Trouble uploading .xslx files because Alteryx reading as .xls

Hi - Is anyone else getting this error message when uploading .xlsx excel as input files? I have one section of my workflow where I'm getting this error message, but everywhere else in my workflow, I'm able to upload the .xlsx files fine. I'm not uploading .xls files, so I'm not sure why this error message keeps popping up here.

From the erorr message, it says the file is a xls file rather than a xlsx file.

Maybe you can open the file and save as a XLS file just to be sure.

You can also follow the directions given in this Alteryx Community topic Error: "Windows Security patch prevents the Jet driver from reading .xls files; install the 2010 32-... keep in mind those XLS Excel files are ageing and it will be wise to upgrade them or stop generating them.

Thanks for the tip! But my files aren't saved as .xls so it seems like there's an error in how Alteryx is reading these files? All my files are .xlsx

@jessc_  Can you open one of those files in Excel and save it back? then try to open it with Alteryx, let us know what happened?

Can you share one of those files in the community?
