Transpose tool

Hi All, 

Im struggling to get the transpose tool to work as i need it to. so i must doing something wrong in the settings. 

I currently have this dataset, and i wanted to change it from its current layout to horizontal and then join it to a larger dataset using the file name. 

Can anyone assist?

Hi @moshood 

I think you might have attached the wrong image.  There's a large error message blocking most of the worksheet.   Also instead of an image, can you attach a small section of worksheet with just a few rows and the relevant columns.  An example of your expected output would help a lot, too.

Thanks for the prompt response. 

The data runs into alteryx and the output is in sheet 1.

 i want to convert the output in sheet 1 to the output of sheet 2. 

So in short i want to convert sheet 1 to sheet 2.

Sheet 1 contains the fields

  COST CATEGORY
  LEAKAGE
  FileName

Only one of those fields, FileName, is on Sheet 2

I guess the input is still missing a tab for "source file 2" that you want to join to, to get Sheet 2?

Can you provide all of the input data in an Excel file?
