Bit of a long winded flow but think i got there in the end with a nested table. Take a look and see if it works close enough. You can then render the report table as an excel file. It outputs without the correct spacing but i dragged a few out to show what it looks like.
Improvements i'd potentially consider is renaming the dates to remove the underscores but i left as is as it does a job at the moment.
