Do Alteryx have options to display tool ID on the top/bottom of the tool? (Like what I attached in the screenshot below)
This will make documentation easier for preparer.
Thanks in advance!

Yes there is an option, when you select the icon which looks like a tag in the tool configuration, there is an option for the annotation to be added on top.

The annotation does not allow ID to be put on top to be put on top automatically, we have to manually input the settings in the Annotation.
For a clearer picture, please see screenshot 1 and screenshot 2 as comparison.
Screenshot 1 attached below shows no 382 on the bottom of the "Text Input" boxes
However, screenshot 2 in below shows that I have to input "382" in the Annotation in order for it to show.
My question is that, do we have a button to enable Alteryx to show "382" without having to input into the Annotation as I have 1000++ boxes in the workflow file.
Thanks in advance!

There is another canvas setting where annotations show tool names, then with the other setting puts it on top (see select tool on right). There is no way via a single button click to make all tool annotations appear at the top of the tool.
