Hello Everyone,

Please help me in the time series forecasting with the attached data-set

RETAIL STORE QTY FORECASTING

I want to forecast quantity sold in each month for each item name in 2022 (Jan- Dec)

and append it with my input file

I want to use ARIMA and ETS and forecast the value

& also compare both the models using TS Compare.

If possible, please don't use macro and advance logic's because I am new to Alteryx and I really need your help guys for completing the use case.

You can also modify the use-case to make it more better and relevant.

Ok, that's possible with a modification for the forecasting macro. I've updated that macro and re-attached it here. 

Don't forget to edit the ETS and ARIMA tools inside the macro to set the models with appropriate settings for your scenario.

I have a few questions regarding one of my use case since I’m new to Alteryx, and I believe you all are the best person to ask for guidance. Could you provide me with a basic outline/step of how to approach this using Alteryx, focusing on the steps in Alteryx?

Overview: We have over three years of spend data that includes details such as PO Order Date, Item, Item Description, Unit Price, and Primary UOM. I’m specifically looking to predict unit prices for the next six to twelve months, targeting months like November 2024, December 2024, and January 2025, using the historical prices available in our Azure Data Lake. How should I leverage Alteryx for this?
