The Workflow>Meta Info>Description hidden Trap Door

When I type more than a few lines (to incur a scroll bar) in a workflow's Meta Info Description, Alteryx creates a hidden trap door!  

 

Moving the cursor back to any location within the existing text and typing will instantly drop the cursor to the bottom end of the description on the first key stroke (including backspace).

 

The easy workaround is to copy and paste the text from an external program.
