MonthYear | May 2021 | June 2021 | July 2021 | May 2022 | June 2022 |
Originally I have this format, I would like to split the year and month while keeping the original MonthYear row. How do I split them accordingly? Similar concept to text to columns but now it is in rows.
Desired outcome:
MonthYear | May 2021 | June 2021 | July 2021 | May 2022 | June 2022 |
Year | 2021 | 2021 | 2021 | 2022 | 2022 |
Month | May | June | July | May | June |
Solved! Go to Solution.
This should get your ideal output. The last three tools are just for renaming and sorting to get the ideal field names and sort by year first (if necessary).
This also works off the basis that the MonthYear row is your headers row and there are data rows below. Otherwise the first solution posted is good to go
MonthYear | May 2021 | June 2021 | July 2021 | May 2022 | June 2022 |
@kv-defy
I am bit late for the party I guess.
In case you data comes as header only.
We can do something as below
I try to keep the order of the column with a RecordID and use Dynamic Rename to name it back.
User | Count |
---|---|
18 | |
15 | |
13 | |
9 | |
8 |
