Text box and action tool configuration

Question

Hello all! I am trying to create a workflow that can update a columns value in the "Run" screen. I am pretty sure I need to use a formula in the action tool to accomplish this, however, I am not sure what kind of formula to use. my example is that I need to be able to update the column "CurStdUnitID" to be able to reflect "Spin1", "Spin2", "Spin3".. etc. any help would be much appreciated.

yes, I want to be able to update it in the run screen in the server.
