Hello - I am looking for some assistance to see if anyone has had any luck with the new Tableau Output tool (1.4.1) for designer 2024.1.
We are receiving the following error "cannot serialize None (type NoneType)".
Previously we were utilizing the "Block until done" tool before the output and that solved the issue previously.
After upgrading that is no longer the case.
I have deleted out old file packages and reinstalled the newest version as well.
Has anyone else resolved this issue?

Unfortunately, that is not how the error production works for us, at the moment it is project specific within our tableau instance; we are able to reproduce it very easily. we can select a project three levels down from top domain and it works, go to another project three levels down with the same, second level domain and we get the error.
The other thing to note here for us, we have been striking out creating new projects that we can write into. In an attempt to create a single repo for the company at a top level domain I tried over and over again to make one that would "Work" and I kept getting the error. The directories we can write into are older ones, so I am not sure if there is something with the newest tableau version and how projects get generated that is causing this. Tableau support has been working with us on it, and suggested I attempt to recreate these errors using just API post's; I haven't had availability to sit down generate and test that.

I've been having this issue when publishing to certain sites that have spaces in between the name of the site, for example if I publish to a site that is only one word, there is no problem. I was able to solve the issue using the 1.3.1 Tableau Output instead of the latest ones.

They have published a new version (1.4.3) that has fixed this issue for me.
