Summation of Data on Date Range Criteria

I am attempting to sum the attached source data on any given date provided in the desired tab to ensure any date sums to 1.0 Is there an easy way to pull out all unique dates within the given source ranges and to sum accordingly.

One way of doing this.

I am not sure that gets me to where I want to be. Is there a way to sum the raw data on an inserted table without having to append each "date" onto the data. I.e., Summing raw data where 01/01/2006 is effective. Please let me know if this is not clear enough. Appending woukd result in a far too large dataset. Thanks in advance.
