Summation not working in formula both fields are fixed decimal not sure why

Greetings, 

This is what I'm trying to do, is add the NS values to the QB values to get the ITD. 

                     Invoiced   Labor 
NS  $      427,450.43  $  107,250.20
QB  $  1,080,249.08  $  284,680.00
ITD  $  1,507,699.51  $  391,930.20

Below screenshots show that the data exists they are both fixed decimals so I'm not sure why its not working, 

Tried different combinations 

[QB Proj Invoiced]+[NS Proj Invoiced $]

[NS Proj Invoiced $]+[QB Proj Invoiced]

tonumber([QB Proj Invoiced])+tonumber([NS Proj Invoiced $])

I don't really know what needs to change in order to get the ITD

It looks like [QB Proj Labor $] is not a valid field in your Proj ITD Labor formula. Double check it as you type out the formula. Its showing you with the red squiggly that there is an error there.
