Struggling with formulas

Hi All, I am really struggling trying to write the expressions for the formula tool. Where can I learn how to write these, is it based on a specific programming language? I need some type of guide to understand the functions and characters that are used in the expressions. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Hi vizAlter, I have worked through all of these, but its like I am missing the background knowledge on them. I dont understand what the characters are used for or when to use them, for example the !, / or ==, and what to put in each of the expression fields for example the c , or t. Is this a specific programming language? I think I need to go to that programming language 101 tutorial.
