Status within multiple rows

Hi ,

I have this requiement where data contains ID and Status columns as shown  :

ID	Status	New Status
ABC	R	P
DEF	P	P
GHI	R	R
ABC	P	P
DEF	P	P
ABC	R	P

ID contains multiple id's , few repeat with status . For example ID 'ABC' has status R and P . Now the requirement is , since ABC has R & P  , whenever there is P status for any ID , then even other status must be changed to P for the same id . The change need to stamped in new status column as show.
