Hey

I have an excel sheet which has 5,00,000 rows and there are about 40 columns. Now, i want to spilt data on the basis of values in one column

This column has 375 unique values. The output should be 375 tabs and each tab about contain all the records of each unique value appearing the dataset.

Does anyone know of a way to solve this problem? Would be of great help

Hello,

use the option of the output tool to take file/table name from field and choose your column.

If it works for you don't forget to approve as a solution.

Thanks.

I tried this but keep getting an error that says "You must specify a sheet name".  How do I do that?

You must specify the default worksheet name. Change the output option to "Change File/Table Name", and just give a default worksheet name of "Sheet1" - it will be overwritten by the column values.

Hope it helps!
