Sorting QTD data from 1Q20XX to 1Q2X

Hi All,

I have the following column data showing quarterly dates as below and I am trying to sort in chronological date order to 4Q14, 1Q15, 2Q15....2Q21. Can someone please advise how best to do this?

2Q2015

First extract year and quarter. Then apply sort by year and quarter.

Thanks - then what formula would I apply to join or pick up the left/right string data to get a column showing 4Q14, 1Q15 exactly in that format please?
