I have a workflow that we used to pull the files from our network drive. We are moving to storing all files on our Sharepoint Cloud and when I run the workflow, I am getting errors that the file size exceeds limit allowed. Screenshots attached. It appears any file over 50MB is not being allowed to open even if I just add do a simple input. Anyone else experience this with large files stored in sharepoint? We did not encounter this when we used the files off our our network drive. Thanks!

There is a setting on the Sharepoint side for this. Check with your sharepoint admin to see if this is something that can be adjusted. Hope this helps!

According to this document (Updated 2019-09-18) the SharePoint Online file size limit is 15GB. However, your error seems to be related to the WebDAV default client limit of 50MB. The link gives a fix for the issue, but it involves changing the registry so follow all the standard procedures for safe registry modification.

Thanks Dan, the WebDAV change to my registry worked to access the data. Just have to keep it under 4GB now 🙂

for some reason i cannot change the settings on my PC with the following...any one please provide some input on if this setting helped to get the data where the file size in excel is 100MB

I know our IT has cracked down a bit on people being able to access their computer registry. You may need to check with your helpdesk to see if they can adjust the setting for you.

Hi @Robbobu1, I am also facing the same issue to read th file size of 200 mb .csv from share point in Alteryx. Could you please let me know what steps u followed to overcome that issue.

I followed the solution that was provided by @danilang in the accepted solution box. It was a computer registry change. We are now changing the process to go after the source system versus trying to ingest large excel files from a network location so we have not encountered it since.
