Should be easy - dynamic input for a set list of field results

Not quite sure why this is giving me such fits, but it is, so here I am.
I have a data input that contains a list of account numbers.  I'm attempting to use a dynamic input for a very large database, to only pull the data from the list of account numbers contained in the input. 
So, I'd imagine I'm adding a modify SQL query to replace specific string, but something isn't working, and the dynamic input tool is erroring out (despite testing the connection itself). 
Does anyone have any sample workflows available for this type of scenario? I'm sure it's some sort of issue in either my query itself or the modification entered into the dynamic input tool.

Hi @MCDR929 ,

If you open up the provided example for the Dynamic Input tool (right-click on the tool > Open example), examples #2 and #3 seem to be representative of the problem you're facing.

They update a string within a SQL statement and maybe you can do the same with yours?
