Sharepoint Tool version and client secret not working

I am currently using the SharePoint tool version of 2.5.  I'm also using client secret.  When I try to use the 2.5 version, I get the error failed to authenticate.  I can view it when I'm setting up the tool but when I run it, I get the error.  I finally decided to try an older version of 2.2 and it works.  What has changed in the versions and is there something different that needs to be done for the 2.5 version?

FYI:  I need to use the 2.5 version because that is what is loaded for our gallery.

I think this may be a good candidate to report through Mission Control (my.alteryx.com) to ensure Customer Support is aware and can provide insight into resolution. The case submission process will also search the Knowledge Base in case there is a known solution
