Separate string intro 2 from -

i have a field which contains data such as;

ABC123 - BREAD

ABC3123 - EGG SANDWICH

SS3232E - TEA

How can i split the field so i have 2 fields, one with the code and the other with the name?

Use the text to column tool with - as a delimiter.

You may use the text to column tool and put '-' as delimiter :)
