Send Email in the Events to support SMTP authentication

Hi,

We need "Send Email" in the Events to support SMTP authentication.

The Send Email currently not working for our environment as our smtp requires authentication.

The autentication provided in the Gallery SMTP configuration appear to have no use.

The email event hasn't been fixed yet, but it should be fixed in the near future, likely in the upcoming release.

Thank you for your post to the Alteryx Community! This is actually a known issue within the events, as we started supporting SMTP authentication for the email tool and event in 2019.3.

Does this means if we upgrade to 2019.3 the issue will be fixed?

We use 2019.2.8 which include a fix for proxy issue, will the latest 2019.3 also include a fix for proxy issue?
