Saving and opening flows from OneDrive or Sharepoint?

Hello community!

I have recently switched over from using the company network drive to save my Alteryx work to now utilizing Sharepoint and OneDrive for file storage. I've been able to save these files without any issue. Unfortunately, I cannot open and work with these files in Alteryx when they are saved on either platform. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this? I have a co-worker who says he uses OneDrive to save all of his Alteryx work and that he didn't know why mine would be different. I emailed him the same flow for him to try  and he said that it worked and opened normally like the rest of his files. In the second picture, you'll see there is no "open" button from OneDrive.

Hi @MIJ123,

are you sure he is using the Web-Version of OneDrive/Sharepoint? I think he is using the native Windows version that integrated into the normal folder structure.

OneDrive is just another folder in my file explorer. Therefore all files behave like normal files. Try to install or more likely setup the OneDrive windows client on your machine. This way all OneDrive files are synchronized to your machine and can be accessed using the windows explorer.

I hope this helps.

Best

Alex
