Save "groups" of tools?

Hi, new here,

I noticed it looked like there was a functionality for organizing various tools into "groups" such that I could have one workflow with 12 tools eg, organized into 3 logical/coherent groups (what is this called?).

My question is if you can "save" these logical groups as templates?

Sorry if the question is redundant!

you could put them in a container, and even collapse that container to keep it looking nice and neat. then you can copy and paste that container all you want.

the other alternative would be to put that set of tools into a fresh workflow, with macro inputs/outputs (or a control parameter) - and basically make a macro out of it. a macro is just a set of saved tools

a macro out of macros then? Is possible?

I see, so can I save macros and call them as templates in a new workflow then?

correct

you can put macros inside of other macros, as many times as you want. and when you save your new macro, you can insert it into any other workflows like a regular tool
