SMTP outlook 2016

I'm trying to use the email tool and every SMTP I try does not work.  I have tried mail.companyname.com  and I get the  error message Record#1: on port 25 is not vaild

You must specify a From: Address in the Email tool.

You should be able to use any email address, even if it doesn't exists. I tried with test@test.com and it worked.
