SAP HANA connections to alteryx

Hi All,

Can you guide me how to connect to SAP HANA database(SP.11)? What all pre-requisite are required for driver setup?

You need to setup the SAP HANA ODBC driver which is obtained directly from SAP.

Then define a DSN in the ODBC Administrator

Use this connection within Alteryx

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.i was able to connect to SAP HANA successfully earlier. One more issue i came across is that while loading tables into SAP HANA throught alteryx flow, the data was stored in row storage in HANA while my data in redhsift is already in columnar form.What can be the issue behind it? and how can it be resolved?

Hi @veeruj,

When you install SAP HANA package on your system, the driver gets installed with it.

Check ODBC driver on your system.
