Run an App on the Gallery via API and pass a parameter

Hi,

I have an app on the server, it is a text ox where the user can enter the customer name and it returns that customers rows.

I want to run this workflow via an API and pass it customer name. I have looked at a bunch of articles but they are out dated and don't work on v3 of the APIs.

The closest API call I could find is this one, /v1/workflows/{appId}/jobs/, but I am on server 2023.1 and it doesn't allow for auth 1.

Has any one done this before that can help me out?
