Rolling Period Help

Hello!

I am very new to Alteryx and I'm trying to automate some reporting for the accounting department. The report is run every period end on a rolling basis (I.E. P1-P3, P2-P4, P3-P5). I'm waiting to take my period column and have the workflow populate a new column that says P1-P3 if the period column contains of records that have 1, 2, or 3.  I tried accomplishing this in a formula tool but I just can't seem to figure it out.

This can be achieved with the help of Multi-row formula tool.
