Reporting tools - 1 pixel gap between images

Hello everyone,

I am trying to design a nice report with the Reporting tools, where I would need images to perfectly align with each other. Unfortunately, I keep getting a small gap between the images, that seems like 1 pixel.

Example with the little white line between the blue and red images below in Vertical Layout:

The gap is clearly visible, at 100% zoom, in both PDF and PowerPoint outputs. 

I have been trying different techniques:

- Image loaded in the Image tool

- Image loaded in the Report Text tool

- Background color in the Report Text Tool

I am attaching a test workflow showing the problem.

Any ideas? :-)

See the attached workflow.  When I send it to PDF there isn't a space. I unioned the two text tools and then combined all records in the layout tool.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I tried your workflow and, the gap appears and disappears depending on the level of zooms as you can see in these screenshots:

On the Layout tool, try clicking the fill color and select either Red or Blue.  There is still a break but it wasn't showing up for me until 300%.

Thanks @lwolfie for the suggestion. I tried but I still have the gap straight away on my side.I guess it's a limitation of the underlying technology behind reporting tools (PCXML?). Have a good day!

This is an interesting request. Can you put it into a table tool without the borders?
