Reporting by Line of business

For a given data source we will need to automatically report errors to the “owning” function and Line of Business (we’ll be pulling data from ERPs – so they will hold data from multiple owners – so if we can conditionally separate out who the error should be reported to, that would be good. This might be as simple as hard coding a functional “owner” to the output from a validation – but then can we separate the data by LoB too?

Data will be coming in from multiple sources each having a functional "owner" and also lines of business.

Then merged into a single output source.

If during the validation process any error messages relating to the input data could be conditionally separated and reported to the relevant "owner" rather than all "owners". 

This would be ideal.

One idea is to hard code the functional "owner" to the output from validation.

If possible, separate the error reporting by "owner" then additionally line of business,
