Reporting Tools - Group Data to Separate Reports but don't Output Field

I am using the reporting tools to output to Excel.  I would like to create separate tabs based on year, but not have year output in the data.  Is this possible?

Could you provide an example of some of the fields you are trying to group by and keep on the report.
