Reporting Text Tool adds .5 to font size

Dear community,

when I'm using the report text tool and set up the font size to 8pt or everything uneven, the Designer keeps adding .5 to the font size. So instead of writing the text in 8pt, it will be written in 8.5pt.

I don't understand why the report text tool is doing this since you have no option to write  point numbers for font size.

You can check with the browse tool what is actually written in pcXML. Please see the screenshot attached.

This sounds like a potential defect, could you raise a case with support to be investigated please?
