Render tool - to many custom colors

Hi All,

I am creating a custom excel report using reporting tools. I am facing one issue. Is there a way to force more custom colors for my render tool?

Warning: Render (124): There are too many custom colors for this XLSX file. The requested color RGB=(217, 217, 217) has been replaced with RGB=(204, 204, 255)

Hi @Andrzej

This is a limitation that I've not found a way around. However, we can extend the amount of unique colors used in the Rendered files by first using the all the standard colors available in Excel, then adding custom colors up to the limit. This helps to extend the amount of colors a bit, but there's still a limit.

I was going to see if I could find a list of  RGB values for the standard palette, but I only found that results for pre-2003 Excel.This might be worth testing with for now, otherwise maybe someone can find a more relevant list of standard palette colors.
