Render excel output using reporting tool with cell format as Date

We have a requirement, where we need to change the format of few cells to Date while rendering them through Alteryx. By default, format of all the cells when creating excel file using Render tool is Number (even when text columns are present) . Can this Number format be changed?

this is a problem with Excel not Alteryx. Another reason we should stop using Excel.

Can you post your workflow and show me what you're trying to render?

Want cell B2 and B3 of excel to be of (Custom)Date format. So that, when user enters date, it is automatically formatted. But, all of them are Number formatted irrespective of the content.
