Removing white space between table cell borders

Hello,

I am starting to play around with tables but I am having difficulty removing the white space between cell borders. In the documentation for the table tool it provides tables with clean, connected borders. I think I am doing the same thing as described in the documentation, but evidently not. Any help greatly appreciated!

For reference, I have set the right border for the Cumulate Gain and Loss Column and the left border for the 3 Month % Change column. Yet there is still a white gap between them. I am assuming there must be a way to turn off this default spacing/buffer that I cannot find.

I'm not massively experienced with reporting tools so could be overlooking something very obvious. However, I've also tried to recreate this following the documentation and get the same issue, even after a good look through all of the configuration menus. When connected to a render tool, it minimises the issue but the gap is definitely still there. Unless someone can hop in with a solution then you may just have to use one or the other instead of both ('right' border of cummulative with 'none' for 3 month %, or 'none' for cummulative with 'left' for 3 month %).

I have managed to improve it a bit following what you said, and it looks better on the PDF document than it does in the Alteryx Browser Window which is good. Seems to be a general setting for tables to have some whitespace between cells. A little odd, but not a deal breaker for the presentation of the tables.

Thank you for the advice :)
