I am attempting to remove the brackets and the strings inside the brackets. Please someone can help me? In one cell there are 3 sets of codes followed by 3 pairs of brackets: Y140000251 (Effective Date 10/3/2016) Y140000177 (Effective Date 7/18/2016) Y140000120 (Effective Date 7/18/2016) How can I change them into below codes in the same cell: Y140000251 Y140000177 Y140000120 Thanks!

Hi @Gingerlearner,

One way is to use regex_replace in a formula tool. Here's the expression I used in the below picture:

REGEX_Replace([columnName], '\([^\)]+\)', '')

I hope this helps! If it does, please consider marking this a solution so others may find it.
