when we are using macro in a workflow im getting different output is it because of the input connection that we are passing to the macro
i.e. can data be overrided because of different input to macro that is not same for the macro workflow

We probably need more information to help with your question, but if it is what I think you are asking, and a batch macro, check the control parameter to make sure that you are changing the value correctly in the action. I ran into an issue where I updated the file and the string that was being replaced no longer matched causing nothing to be replaced. The output I was getting was the output from the sample inside the macro. Hopefully that helps.
