Read and Parse Password protected excel files

Hi all,

I have multiple password protected excel files placed in multiple sub folders within a single directory. All the files schema are different which means the number of columns may vary in all the excel files but, the most of the column names would be the same.

I need to read all the excel files placed in all the sub folders and Parse them to a good structure format. All the identical column names in all the excel files must be stacked (apply union).

Could anyone help me how to achieve this with any programming either Python or R?
