Question anchor in Formula and Filter tool

Hi All,

I am trying to learn Interface tools in Alteryx. My question why does Formula and Filter tools has Question anchor. How to use them? Please help.

@Soma_0991 When the Interface tool is connected to Q-anchor, the value of the Interface tool can be used as variable [#1] of the expression editor. So the tool that has expression editor like the Formula, the Filter have Q-anchor.

The Q anchor serves as the input point that connects Interface tools to Action tools and passes data into the workflow. The Lightning Bolt anchor represents how user inputs trigger updates within the workflow, showing what action is being performed and how it modifies the process. The Action tool specify which exact action you'd like to Alteryx to do. Hope this helps
