Punctuations getting lost in crosstab tool

I'm trying to let user select rows and then with a join combine the whole thing.

My problem is that the Punctuations go away when i use the Crosstab tool how can i prevent that?

Change the 2 fields around in the crosstab tool, i.e.  RecordID as Header and Description as Value. Then use Dynamic Rename and take 1st row as field names
