Publish to Tableau Server Tool - with data source metainfo (optional)

Hi folks, I am trying to publish data from an Alteryx workflow to Tableau Server, but I want the data source to always publish the data in the same folders and hierarchies within Tableau Server data source each time, so that it stays organized for users every time it refreshes.  I was following this blog post and Alteryx article for help, but I'm stuck:

It seems that the details behind the folders and hierarchies (the customization you've made to what is/will be your Tableau Server data source, you could say) are saved in the .tds file, and all you need to do is tell Alteryx to also consider this file just before publishing, so that it organizes the data/folders/hierarchies accordingly.  (the Data source metainfo (optional) section in the Publish to Tableau Server tool configuration)

Does that sound correct, in general, regarding what it's actually doing?

Does anyone know if the location of the .tds file matters, so long as you're using a universal path to direct Alteryx to it?  I made my modifications to the .tds file, copied it, and put it into a folder on a shared drive.  In the blog post it seems the local machine was used, so I'm wondering if that is an issue... I was thinking that Alteryx probably doesn't care where the file is located, but maybe not.

Also it seems that my names match as they should:

I was thinking about the 2 updates to the .tds as directed to change (in the blog post).  I did try being specific and say 2021.1.4 as well, but that didn't work.  And I believe the [filename] I have replaced looks ok as well:

Can anyone suggest what else I can check or try to get this to work?

Thanks in advance... Katie
