Publish .hyper file Error with .tds file

Question

Hi,

I am trying to publish a tableau .hyper file to tableau server with an accompanying .tds file. I am getting the below error

When I reduce the volume of the file (filter out some data of historical year), the file publishes successfully.

Also, the publish works fine without a .tds file

Can you help?

throttle seems to take forever.

I can try that.

But the job runs fine when I don't provide a .tds file. Not sure if throttle would help.

Hi @joshi ,

is it possible you are being throttled and once you hit a limit it stops you?

Try parcelling the files into multiples, or if you're streaming records, try the "Throttle" tool, which will slow the transfer rate and is therefore less likely to hit the block.
