Has anyone successfully triggered Alteryx workflows from within PowerBI?

@jwall_bdo, as far as I know there is no way to remotely triggered a desktop based designer. The only way I see you doing this is to pre process possible parameters choices and have it already stored in Power BI.

ok, the scenario is using Alteryx Desktop Designer not Sever and the user needs to change parameters then have the workflow run. The goal we were wanting is to have the parameters changed in PowerBi that change then triggers the workflow that then updates a visual in PowerBI.

You could trigger a workflow with a custom visual which sends requests to the server API. What is your use case?
