Populating Number of zeros in .csv Output

Hi,

I am working on a Flow where in one of the output columns should populate the value "0000"
wherein it shows "0000" in Alteryx workflow but when I run and see the Output in the desired path it shows "0" this as the value.

The output file is .csv

any help on this?

A few questions for you to investigate:

1. In alteryx is the data type of the column text or numeric?
2. Are you opening the csv file through excel? Excel may be updating the number with auto formatting.
3. If you open the csv in notepad, do you see the four zeros?

Excel is likely your problem then when it tries to be helpful and assign data types for you. If you open the csv in notepad you'll see the values are populating as you'd expect. Try loading your csv into excel via the Data Ribbon - you may need to go into power query and make sure the data type stays a string.
