Platform SDK compatibility for Designer 2020.3

Is it recommended that I should switch from Engine SDK to Platform SDK when I am using Alteryx Designer v2020.3.

Also as I read in the Platform SDK docs, the AMP engine needs to be enabled mandatorily. So my question is that would it be recommended to turn on AMP Engine in 2020.3?
