Password Protect Alteryx Workflow

Is there a way to password protect my Alteryx Workflow? The Lock Your Workflow functionality does not serve my purpose. I still want selected people (who have the password to the workflow, or something similar) to be able to access the workflow, make modifications when needed, run workflow, etc., not a total lockdown of the workflow itself.

If that's not possible, is there a way to password protect a tool? Let's say the Email Tool, I just want a limited number of people to be able to edit the Email Tool.

Hi @justinihil ,

In my experience, security is often implemented at the Alteryx Server level. So only certain, authorized people can access the workflow you share. 

I am not sure how personalized security is implemented at the Alteryx Designer level, would definitely be interested in knowing.
