Parameter for R Tool

renanpinheiro

Hello guys,
I am creating a Macro that uses the R Tool. I need to pass to this Tool a parameter that will be entered by the user and will be used in a calculation.
How do I do that?

Hi @renanpinheiro,

It is possible to access interface tools values from R tool.

To proceed, use '%Question.tool_name%' where tool_name is the name of the interface tool.

Example:

In the following, I have a Numeric Up Down tool called "ValueToAdd"

ValueToAdd value could be used in R tool thanks to :

myValue <- '%Question.ValueToAdd%'

Please find attached a simple example.

Kind regards,

Paul
