Outputting Data to a file using path from a field

I have data that I want to add to an excel file based on the today's date. I have multiple rows of data and a field called path name which has only one row containing the file path. The remaining rows in that column are null. When I am trying to output the data using the output tool and by taking the file path from the file path column I am getting an error stating "You must specify a file name". How do I solve this?

I think we can not leave the Path field to be null.
