Output path lenght limited ?

Hello,

I'm using a Batch macro to output a bunch of files to report (Using the Render tool)

It works well but for some files, that have quite a long name, it returns the error "Error: OutputReports (10): Record #1: Tool #23: Unable to write output file: C:\.... The system cannot find the path specified. (3)"

I tried to isolate those files manually and removed some characters in their name and it works 

Does that mean that the output path is limited in length somehow?  

And is there any way around it?

What is the length of your field that holds the file name?

255 is the limit for windows for the full path and name.

It seems to be the case indeed

I had no idea path were limited in length in Windows

You can try to force windows to extend the string lenght limit
